British Comedy Society Photos
01st Sep 06 On Sunday 24/09/2006 I was invited to attend the 'Last Of The Summer Wine' 250th episode celebration at Pinewood studios. All the stars from the show attended and were presented beautiful glass awards but for one of them the day was to be more than they expected.
Peter Sallis was presented A Life Time Acheivement Award by June Whitfield on behalf of everyone at the British Comedy Society.
As I was lucky enough to be there I managed to capture photos of the whole event during the day.
This was an amazing experience for me as I have never had the chance to participate in anything similar to this before.
As a further boost, a director of the Birtish Comedy Society , Mr Brian Highley, informed me that a photo was to be used in the local newspaper, which you can see below.
This was a very memorable day for myself as well as everyone else who attended.
