About Me

I am thirty years old and live in the Sidmouth area. I am very interested in digital photography after my girlfriend bought me an Olympus C315 for Christmas, 2005. This is a perfect compact camera to start learning photography. Its light, easy to use and gives great shots! The majority of my photos on my site are thanks to my olympus and I still carry it everywhere with me alongside my new camera.

I now also own a Canon EOS 400 Digital SLR kitted with a range of lenses which enables me to shoot nearly anything. I am starting to build quite a collection of equipment. My latest addition to my photo range is a 100mm Canon Macro lens which I connect to a x2 converter which can produce shots like seen in my portfolio 'close up shots'. Since then I have been snapping everything and here I am now with my own website selling my photos.

My next lens on the cards is a 50 - 500mm Sigma Ultra telephoto lens. This would enable me to shoot wildlife from a greater distance. Its a great lens but its quite pricey at £500! I wasnt aware lenses were this price when I first started off but my new macro was £450 and I can really see the difference to a cheaper lens.
I am very lucky living in Colaton Raleigh (Devon) as I have so many possible photo opportunities at my doorstep.
